Congressman Trey Gowdy was recently easily reelected to his seat representing upstate South Carolina, fending off a Democratic challenger backed by his adversary Hillary Clinton.
Now that Hillary Clinton won’t be in the White House, Trey Gowdy will be returning to Washington with a change in his approach and a different role, too.
However, one thing will remain constant, and that is Trey’s intent on seeing Clinton’s prosecution through. Said Gowdy, “There is sufficient evidence, both direct and circumstantial, upon which a jury could conclude an intent to violate the law.”
He cited his promise he made with voters for his pledge to carry on, saying, “The voters have given us the greatest privilege in a democratic republic, which is the opportunity to govern.”
Gowdy added, “It is imperative we keep our word to the American people and govern in a way worthy of their respect. Voters spoke in loud, clear terms and those entrusted with the opportunity to serve should listen and hear with equal clarity.” Do you support Trey Gowdy’s plan?
