President-elect Donald Trump is about not to allow the U.N to take place in U.S policy or to disrupt relations with long-standing allies.
Trump stated: “The resolution being considered at the United Nations Security Council regarding Israel should be vetoed,”
“This puts Israel in a very poor negotiating position and is extremely unfair to all Israelis,” said Donald Trump.
The Obama era is gone. The era of weakness that we all want not to happen again.
Prime Minister Netanyahu took a page from Trump’s book and began tweeting about the disastrous resolution late last night. Netanyahu’s said, via Twitter, that Obama might be in the midst of taking one final shot at Israel before leaving the Oval Office, the Jerusalem Post reports.
Trump also stated, “The United States has long maintained, peace between the Israelis and Palestinians will only come through direct negotiations between the parties, and not through the imposition of terms by the United Nations.”
The United Nations resolution draft states the building of settlements by Israel has “no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law.” Obama has been extremely critical of the construction of Israeli settlements in both Jerusalem and the West Bank throughout his tenure in office.
Israelis are happy and encouraged that Donald Trump is elected as a President. They hope that Trump will bring more friendly relationship with our ally.
Here it comes the Trump era, nobody should ever take a place and determine our policies. It is clearly that Trump has great plans for our country to lead us to the top.
