President Trump just showed his strong diplomacy skills when he met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday.
In fact, Trump gave the Prime Minister a hug in full view of the cameras before they went inside the White House. When was the last time you saw Obama hug a foreign leader?
But the viral moments didn’t stop there! They continued during a photo op in the Oval Office. Trump pulled Abe’s hand closer, patted it several times and held on for 19 seconds.
“Strong hands,” Trump said to Abe as the media left the room.
Trump has just put in his earpiece when PM Abe speaks, but yet he laughed along with the golf joke earlier without it.Does he speak Japanese?

Moreover, during a joint news conference, the Twitterverse started speculating about whether or not Trump was wearing an earpiece. Abe conducted the meeting in his native language. For the tail end of the conference, Trump appeared to be holding his earpiece to his ear. This shows that Trump is willing to do whatever it takes to be able to communicate with other world leaders. What a guy!
To end the meeting, Trump enthusiastically exclaimed, “Let’s go to Florida!” Trump, Abe and their wives are scheduled to spend the weekend together at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
Do you think Abe is pleased with his Trump’s reception? It sure looks that way!
