Melania Trump showed Hollywood how to properly roll out the red carpet when she hosted her first official White House gala.
Instead of movie stars, the guests at the White House tonight were the nation’s governors. Instead of the crassness of the west coast, Melania made sure her event was all class.
The Governor’s Ball is an annual tradition and marks the first official time President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump acted as host and hostess at the White House for a gala-style event.
The theme of the dinner was “Spring’s Renewal.” Melania Trump all elegance and class said,
“The scents of jasmine and roses fill the air as we give thanks for this great Nation and the glory of renewal.”
“I am proud to invite all the governors to the White House for this important annual event. Tonight, we come together as one Nation, leaving political labels and partisan interests behind.”
If Melania can do this inside Washington DC, you would think Hollywood liberals could do the same. But no, they couldn’t resist politicizing an award show while Melania stunned everyone by actually bringing democrats and republicans together.
President Trump made some brief remarks and hinted at what’s to come,
“Tomorrow we’re going to meet and we’re going discuss things like perhaps healthcare will come up, perhaps and I think we’ve made a lot of progress on that and we’re going to have a speech Tuesday night and we’re going to be speaking very specifically about a very complicated subject. We’re going to have it fixed, and we’re going to repeal and replace, and I think you’re going to see something very special.”
