Millions of Americans were baffled when the FBI declined to charge Hillary Clinton over her use of a personal email server during her time as Secretary of State. Now, something that was likely one of the reasons for this has been revealed…
reported that a top FBI official did not list campaign contributions his wife was given from a Clinton in 2015 in financial disclosure forms. A report obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request showed that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe did not put down his wife Dr. Jill McCabe’s salary. He also did not document or mention the hundreds of thousands of campaign funds she received in her unsuccessful 2015 Virginia state Senate race.
Clinton confidant and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe urged McCabe’s wife to run for office shortly after Clinton’s email scandal came to light. Between October and November of 2015, McCabe’s campaign received $467,500 from Common Good VA, a political action committee controlled by McAuliffe. She was also given $292,500 from a second Democratic PAC.
McCabe himself ended up at the center of the FBI investigation into Clinton and played a large role in making sure she wasn’t charged. SHARE this story so we can spread this!
