There are some politicians in Washington who no one wants to go head to head with. Representative Trey Gowdy is definitely one of those people. His career has been entirely built on being an extremely strong litigator during his time serving South Carolina as a prosecutor and trying some of the hardest cases the state has ever seen. His skills were put to even better use when he made the decision to run for South Carolina Representative, and his litigation skills have been essential in draining the swamp in Washington.
On Wednesday, Gowdy sat down for an interview with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in front of the House Judiciary Committee. The interview was concerning the conflicts of interest and corruption that have been taking place within the Department of Justice as well as the FBI. Rosenstein was not given a pass by Gowdy, however, after Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel team was discovered to be totally biased. Gowdy decided to tear into Rosenstein in an extreme tirade which you wouldn’t believe if you didn’t see for yourself.
Gowdy began pointing out the reason that a Special Coulee was appointed in the first place to begin an investigation which was not tainted with any special interests. This has been the opposite since Robert Mueller was appointed head of the disgusting witch hunt which has been taking place.
Mueller’s team was assembled in order to look into any possible criminal activity on the part of President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election. Mueller’s bias towards Hillary Clinton has become quite apparent. During the interview, Gowdy brought up the point that demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr and his wife both worked for Fusion GPS, the firm which was responsible for creating the phony “dossier.”
Gowdy’s 6-minte rant was quite impressive as he delved into the Trump-hating FBI agent Peter Strzok. He even read some of the text messages Strzok had sent to his mistress Lisa Page for all to hear.
Gowdy explained, “This ‘conflict of interest-free’ senior agent of the FBI can’t think of a single solitary American who would vote for Donald Trump!”

It wasn’t surprising that Rosenstein continued to insist that there was no such witch hunt. However, the text messages clearly imply another story. It was reported by Fox News about the disgusting messages. The report showed just how real the corruption in the Special Counsel really is.
Fox News reported:
More than 10,000 texts between Strzok and Page were being reviewed by the Justice Department after Strzok was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe after it was revealed that some of them contained anti-Trump content.
The messages were sent during the 2016 campaign and contain discussions about various candidates. On March 2, Strzok texted Page that someone “asked me who I’d vote for, guessed [Ohio Gov. John] Kasich.”
Twelve days later, after Trump took a commanding lead in the Republican delegate race with victories in key “Super Tuesday” primaries, Page texted Strzok, “I can not believe Donald Trump is likely to be an actual, serious candidate for president.”
These are the people that we are supposed to trust to look into possible corruption… This is truly heartbreaking and extremely terrifying if you ask me. They are totally biased and we cannot allow this kind of nonsense to continue.
The entire reason that Jeff Sessions recused himself from looking into the Russian collusion narrative was because he knew that he would be bringing some kind of bias into the entire investigation. Everyone has some sort of special interest, however, this “Special Counsel” has made it clear that they do not care to put their biases aside in order to conduct a fair investigation. This investigation must be shut down immediately. There is no proof against President Trump, and it’s time that the Left give it up.
We are so thankful to have men like Trey Gowdy in Washington pulling for the good guys and fighting for the American people.
